ASTM – A53 is the standard specification for hot rolled and cold formed steel pipe with Electrical Resistance Weld (ERW).

ASTM – A53 pipes are available with a lacquer or galvanised . Finally, an hydrostatic test is performed to check its internal pressure.

Available Dimensions

  • ASTM – A53 tubing is available from 1/8 “nominal diameter up to 30” nominal diameter.
  • These diameters are offered with different schedule (Sch 5 up to Sch 160) which refers to the wall thickness.
