ASTM – A847 is the standard specification for cold formed welded pipe with high atmospheric corrosion resistant steel.

Also known as Corten Steel or Weathering Steel with its high resistance to atmospheric corrosion after a certain time, the surface of the steel becomes weathered (rusty brown).

This finish is stable and will not increase over time, resulting in lower maintenance cost for steel structures (no paint required).

Available Dimensions

  • Round tubes with outside diameters from
    1.315 ” to 6.625 ”
  • Square tubes with outside dimensions from
    1.0 ” x 1.0 ” to 10”x 10 ”
  • Rectangular tubes with outside dimensions from
    3.0 ” x 2.0 ” to 12 ” x 8 ”
  • Available thicknesses range between
    0.125 ” and 0.375 ” depending on the dimensions
